Alternative Energy Industries
is developing the E-Lectra-gt to fill a long overlooked
niche in the American car market. Namely, a plug in
hybrid electric vehicle or PHEV that has good range, high
fuel economy (75 to 100 mpg when in hybrid mode), good
handling, acceleration and top speed and costs less than
$69,000. Several attempts have been made to fill this
niche but most other companies began with an existing car,
then
tried to convert it. These approaches
have been largely unsuccessful for many reasons: too much
weight, not aerodynamic enough, not laid out correctly to
house the electric components, etc. Rather than convert an existing car that
requires more fuel (electric, gasoline or any other fuel) to
create the additional horsepower needed to move the extra
weight, our car was created to be light (under 2000 pounds
with batteries), slick (aerodynamic or low drag coefficient)
and strong. We are certain that we have found the
winning solution.
Alternative Energy Industries
is now seeking financial backers to build our prototype
vehicles and develop a production facility to construct 200
vehicles the first year. This is a ground floor opportunity
to help build the future of the green American automobile
industry. For more information contact us at:
